• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems.
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and documents.
• Plan and program layout of project(s); coordinate and integrate engineering elements into a unified design for client review and approval.
• Produce construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Work with the Project Managers to direct, supervise, and check activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of a project.
• Collaborate with highly multi-disciplined design teams.
• Assist in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
• Track project time using Resource Management by Smartsheet.
• Other related duties as assigned.Qualifications & Skills:
• 3-6 years of proven experience with large-scale international projects.
• Strong aesthetic design sensitivity with technical knowledge.
• Experience in coordination with clients and consultants.
• Excellent communication and organization skills, with control and management of the project budget.
• Ability to articulate design concepts precisely and comprehensibly.
• Experience in geometric optimization and fabrication processes for complex geometry.
• Skilled in researching technical solutions and resolving details through cutting-edge solutions.
• Ability as a team leader.
• Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D and 2D software (Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Revit are a must).
• Knowledge of 2D drawing in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of rendering software such as V-ray, Lumion, and Twinmotion.
• Fluent in English; Italian and Portuguese are a plus.
• All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
