Job Title : ForeScout and ForcePoint SME (Migration and Configuration)

ForeScout and ForcePoint SME (Migration and Configuration)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled contractor to lead the migration, upgrade, and general configuration of our Forescout AND Forcepoint platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Forescout solutions and a strong background in network security. In addition to the initial migration, configuration, and upgrade, they may be needing this person available to support the existing team of 4 with ongoing maintenance, training, etc. on ForcePoint and ForeScout - the team is generalists so this person will be the SME that will assist.

Responsibilities: Migration and Upgrade: Plan and execute the migration to the latest version of Forescout.
Perform gradual upgrades to ensure minimal disruption and verify proper functionality
Backup and restore configurations as needed.


Configuration: Configure Forescout to meet organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
Implement network segmentation, VLANs, and access control lists (ACLs) to enhance security
Integrate Forescout with existing network infrastructure and security tools


Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the deployment and operation of Forescout


Documentation and Support: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, configuration guides, and operational procedures
Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including updates, patches, and upgrades



Requirements: Proven experience with Forescout solutions, including CounterACT, eyeSight, eyeControl, and related modules
Strong background in network security and cybersecurity.
Experience with network segmentation, VLANs, and ACLs.
Ability to develop and execute detailed project plans and timelines.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) is a plus
Familiarity with DoD Comply to Connect (C2C) requirements and other relevant cybersecurity standards
